Spoiler season for Magic: The Gathering | Marvel's Spider-Man has arrived. Releasing September 26, 2025, this ~300-card set is Standard-legal and brings the entire Spider-Verse into competitive Magic with brand-new mechanics and iconic characters.
New Mechanics Shake Up the Game
Web-slinging lets you return a tapped creature to hand to help pay for spells, creating powerful tempo plays. Mayhem — a villainous twist on Madness — lets you play discarded cards at reduced cost. Connive returns for villain plotting, and Modified matters rewards creatures with auras, counters, or equipment.
Notable Cards and Collectibles
The Soul Stone is the first of six planned Infinity Stones coming to Magic. It appears in three versions including an ultra-rare Cosmic Foil. Sandman, Shifting Scoundrel marks the first Sand creature type in Magic history. Eight Spectacular Spider-Man suit variants add collector appeal.
