Pokemon 30th Celebration: Every Product & Price
Pokemon TCG: 30th Celebration launches worldwide on September 16, 2026, and it is the most unusual product lineup The Pokemon Company has ever shipped. There is no booster box. Packs exist only inside other products, those products arrive in four waves between September and December, and the prices range from a $9.99 blister to a $179.99 Ultra-Premium Collection. This guide lists every 30th Celebration product with its MSRP, release date and contents, works out the real price per pack, and explains which items the chase cards actually live in.

What is in every pack
Every 30th Celebration booster pack contains five foil cards plus one foil basic Energy. One of the five is always one of the 30 Pikachu, each illustrated by a different artist and stamped 1/30 through 30/30. There are no non-foil cards in the set. The main set runs 128 cards with secret rares on top, for a total of more than 150, and it introduces a new Futuristic Rare rarity for Mewtwo ex and Mew ex, both illustrated by YOSHIROTTEN. The set also brings back the Classic Collection idea from 2021's Celebrations: 30 reprinted cards from across the game's history with a 30th stamp and a special foil treatment.
Why there is no booster box
Celebrations in 2021 had no booster box either, and 30th Celebration follows the same model. Booster packs are distributed only inside sealed products. That has two consequences. The cheapest per-pack entry is not a box, it is the six-pack Booster Bundle at roughly $4.49 a pack. And anyone chasing a full set needs to think in terms of which products have the most packs per dollar, not which box to buy. The table further down does that math.
Wave one: September 16
Launch day brings the widest spread of products and the ones most people will actually find on shelves.
- Elite Trainer Box, $49.99: 9 booster packs, a full-art Nidorina promo, 65 card sleeves, 16 foil basic Energy cards, damage-counter dice, a coin-flip die, a plastic coin, a player's guide and a box with six dividers. This is the product that was pre-selling at three to four times MSRP before a single pack was opened.
- Pokemon Center Elite Trainer Box, $59.99: the same kit with 11 packs instead of 9 and two Nidorina promos, one carrying the Pokemon Center logo. Pokemon Center exclusive.
- Pokemon ex Box, $21.99: Sylveon ex or Greninja ex. A foil promo, an oversized version of the same card and 4 booster packs.
- Poster Collection, $14.99: 3 booster packs, a two-sided poster showing more than 160 cards, and three foil promos of the Legendary birds Articuno, Zapdos and Moltres.
- Tech Sticker Collection, $14.99: 3 booster packs, a foil promo of Alolan Exeggutor or Lucario, and a tech sticker sheet.
- Knock Out Collection, $9.99: 2 booster packs, a foil Eevee promo and a plastic coin.
- 2-Pack Blister, $9.99: 2 booster packs and a foil Eevee promo.
For most collectors the decision on September 16 is ETB versus a stack of ex Boxes and Poster Collections. The ETB wins on accessories and the Nidorina promo, but three Poster Collections cost $44.97 for the same nine packs plus three promos and a poster, and they are far more likely to be sitting on a shelf at MSRP.
Wave two: October 2
- Booster Bundle, $26.94: 6 booster packs and nothing else. The cheapest packs in the entire lineup at $4.49 each, and the product to buy if you only care about cards.
- Mini Tins, $9.99 each: 2 booster packs, a sticker sheet and an art card in each tin, across ten tin designs. (Some retailers list these as Day & Night Mini Tins; The Pokemon Company uses "Day & Night" for the Ultra-Premium Collections.) Five dollars a pack with a collectible tin around it.
If the ETB sells out at launch, which it will, this is the wave to wait for. Two mini tins and a bundle is $46.92 for ten packs, more cards than the ETB for less money.
Wave three: October 30
- Battle Decks, $19.99 each: Espeon ex or Umbreon ex. A 60-card all-foil ready-to-play deck, a deck box, a coin and a playmat, plus an Illustration Rare style companion card, Victini with Espeon and Zeraora with Umbreon. These contain no booster packs, so they are for players and for the Espeon and Umbreon fans.
Wave four: November 6
- Ultra-Premium Collection, $179.99: Day and Night versions. 29 booster packs plus one Classic Collection booster, a Pikachu ex promo and an Espeon ex or Umbreon ex promo, a playmat, sleeves and a deck box. This is the flagship, and so far it is the only product confirmed to contain a Classic Collection pack. It shares its release day with the Delta Reign expansion, so budget accordingly.
- Ditto Premium Collection, $39.99: 8 booster packs, an Illustration Rare style Ditto promo and an acrylic display stand.
- Figure Collection, $29.99: Mew or Mewtwo. A sculpted figure, a foil promo, an oversized card and 5 booster packs.
Wave five: December 4
- Binder Collection, $31.99: a nine-pocket binder in the 30th anniversary design and 5 booster packs. Some retailer listings show this on October 2; The Pokemon Company's own product showcase lists December 4, and we go with the official date.
- Pokemon ex Tins, $21.99: Sylveon ex and Greninja ex tins with 4 packs and a promo are listed by retailers for December 4 but have not been confirmed on pokemon.com yet. Treat them as likely rather than certain.

Where the chase cards actually are
Three questions decide what to buy. The 30 Pikachu are in every pack, so any product with packs works and the bundle is the efficient way to farm them. The Futuristic Rare Mewtwo ex and Mew ex are secret rares pulled from regular packs at regular secret-rare odds, so again pack count is what matters. The Classic Collection is different: it comes in its own booster, and the only product confirmed to include one is the Ultra-Premium Collection. If Base Set Charizard with a 30th stamp is the card you want, the UPC is currently the only sealed route to it, and that is a big part of why it will be the hardest product to find at $179.99.
What to expect on launch day
Pre-order waves at the Pokemon Center sold out with multi-hour queues, and the ETB was pre-selling at several times MSRP before a single pack was opened. Expect big-box retailers to be limited on September 16, expect the ETB and ex Boxes to go first, and expect the Booster Bundle and mini tins on October 2 to be the calmer second chance. Prices on singles will not exist until packs are opened, and we will not guess at them here.
