February 27, 2026 marks 30 years of Pokemon. The Pokemon Company is celebrating with its most ambitious anniversary campaign ever — from a Super Bowl commercial to the first-ever simultaneous worldwide TCG release.

A Jigglypuff backstage commercial introduced the official 30th anniversary logo during Super Bowl LX on February 8, 2026.
First Partner Illustration Collection
Series 1 launches March 20, spotlighting Kanto, Sinnoh, and Alola first partner Pokemon with new illustration artwork. Additional regions follow throughout the year.
The Celebration Collection: October 2026
The crown jewel — a special TCG set marking the first-ever simultaneous worldwide Pokemon TCG release. Teaser showed Base Set Charizard and Crystal Lugia alongside new Mew and Mewtwo key art. Expected to feature anniversary-stamped reprints of iconic cards across all eras. Sealed product from this set could appreciate substantially.
LEGO, Merch & Collaborations
LEGO Pokemon launched on Pokemon Day. McDonald's Happy Meals, Adidas sneakers, and Pokemon Center anniversary apparel are all part of the year-long celebration.
