Edge of Eternities: MTG Goes to Space
Magic: The Gathering Edge of Eternities launched August 1, 2025 — Magic's first-ever space opera set. Featuring 276 cards with brand-new mechanics built around interstellar exploration and temporal manipulation at the edge of the Multiverse.
New Mechanics
Spacecraft is a new artifact subtype. Station lets you tap creatures to add charge counters, powering up ships. Warp offers alternative casting costs but exiles the permanent at end step. Void triggers whenever permanents leave the battlefield. Lander tokens provide ramp by sacrificing to search for basic lands.
Story and Characters
Set in the Sothera system at the Multiverse's edge. Tezzeret returns as Tezzeret, Cruel Captain. Two Commander decks: World Shaper (B/R/G) and Counter Intelligence (U/R/W).
Collector Highlights
