The Pokemon TCG heads back to Unova with Scarlet & Violet — Black Bolt and White Flare, a dual expansion releasing July 18, 2025. All 156 Unova Pokemon are represented across both halves — the most comprehensive Gen V love letter the TCG has produced.
Two Expansions, Two Legendary Dragons
Black Bolt centers on Zekrom ex, White Flare on Reshiram ex. Kyurem ex spreads damage across the entire bench. Each expansion contains over 170 cards with distinct rosters — Meloetta ex in Black Bolt, Keldeo ex in White Flare.
Black White Rare: A New Rarity
The Black White Rare (BWR) features monochromatic holographic designs. Only one per expansion: Zekrom ex and Reshiram ex. Retro foil patterns and classic Black & White energy cards add nostalgic appeal.
